Job summary

TULKOFF FOOD PRODUCTS OHIO LLC in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Experienced Quality Control Technician to ensure food safety and product quality on the production line. The role involves monitoring GMPs, performing ATP swabs, and collaborating with QA/QC managers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Food Safety Practices, Safety Programs and HACCP.
• Experience in a lab environment, wet chemistry preferred.
• 1 - 2 years of industry experience preferably in a food manufacturing facility
• Proficient PC skills including Excel and Microsoft Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detailed oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and legible documentation

Responsibilities

• Monitor production line for Good Manufacturing Practices and Cleanliness.
• Perform daily ATP swabs and sanitation inspections.
• Report to and work closely with QA and/or QC Managers.
• Create labels and tags as needed for production hold and release.
• Ability to resolve daily issues and provide information on quality concerns.
• Approve samples, open lab, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform duties using effective communication skills.
• Understand SQF, FDA (FSMA), USDA and other regulating agencies compliance as it pertains to preparing, requesting and approving official company documents.
• HACCP monitoring activities.
• Properly document all data and provide timely and effective communication to production supervisors, management and other supervisors.
• Fill in as needed in other areas of the Quality Department as assigned by the supervisor
