Job summary

OSI is seeking a production line auditor to ensure products meet specifications and that GMP procedures are followed. The role involves daily QA checks, temperature and device calibration, and lab sample handling as part of a comprehensive quality program.

The position offers overtime eligibility, a competitive hourly rate, and a full benefits package including paid time off and a 401(k) plan. Training is provided and safety rules must be followed.

Qualifications

• 3 months of on the job training.

Responsibilities

• Audit line internal temperature of cooked products and record results.
• Audit metal detectors with standards; retain product and re-test if detector is faulty.
• Perform weekly swabs of equipment, gloves, and air; package with instructions and send to lab.
• Gather cooked and raw product samples each shift for lab testing with instructions.
• Maintain and test shelf life samples; perform organoleptic duties.
• Inspect code dates on bags, boxes and cases per production schedule.
• Inspect and record cooler and freezer temperatures.
• Cook samples 2-3 times per shift from all lines.
• Perform hourly piece count of packed box.
• Calibrate scales and thermometers daily.
• Complete paperwork on employee sanitation compliance.
• Follow all safety rules; use PPE and GMP.
