OSI Group is seeking a quality-focused individual to perform daily GMP-compliant tasks in our Chicago facility. The role covers temperature audits, metal detector testing, sample handling for lab analysis, and routine shelf-life checks.

You will inspect codes, temperatures, and packing counts while upholding safety procedures and PPE usage. Training is provided, with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3 months of on the job training.

Responsabilités

• Audit line internal temperatures of cooked products and record results.
• Audit metal detectors using standards; if detector is faulty, retain product and re-test since last good test.
• Perform weekly swabs of equipment, gloves, and air plates; package with instructions and send to lab.
• Gather cooked and raw product samples once per shift and send to lab with testing instructions.
• Maintain and test shelf life samples; perform organoleptic duties.
• Inspect codes on bags, boxes, and cases per product specs and production schedule.
• Inspect and record cooler and freezer temperatures.
• Cook samples 2-3 times per shift from all lines.
• Perform hourly piece counts of packed boxes.
• Calibrate scales and thermometers daily.
• Complete paperwork on employee sanitation compliance.
• Follow all safety rules; use PPE; adhere to GMP.
• Keep assigned area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
