Job summary

Rosina Food Products, Inc. is seeking a Food Quality Inspector for the 3rd shift at our Buffalo-area meatball facility. The role offers full-time hours with competitive pay and a $1.50 shift differential.

You will ensure product quality, sanitation and GMP compliance while contributing to HACCP documentation and regulatory inspections. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma (GED accepted) and 6+ months in QA or food safety, with HACCP knowledge or certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 6+ months QA or food safety experience preferred
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, CCPs; BRC standards a plus
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• HACCP certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Inspect product weight, labeling, packaging, and overall quality
• Verify sanitation and GMP compliance during production
• Monitor CCPs like metal detection and cooking temps
• Complete documentation for HACCP and quality systems
• Collect and submit samples for lab testing
• Assist with USDA, FDA, and BRC inspections
• Train production staff on quality standards and documentation
