Job summary

Rich Products Corporation is seeking a QA Technician in Missouri City, TX to assure food safety through HACCP compliance, corrective actions, and deviation reporting. You will support the QA Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include sampling, line monitoring, lab testing, data review, and reporting. Strong food science knowledge and physical ability (up to 50 lbs) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, chemistry or biology related field required.
• Chemistry work related analysis and lab testing experience.
• Microbiology knowledge related to food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Document test results and communicate deviations with management.
• Review data and direct follow-up of product testing deviations and trends.
• Conduct product and process capability studies as directed by QA Manager or designate.
• Perform QA tasks including product sampling, line monitoring, lab testing and calibrations.
• Coordinate lab operation, raw material, finished product and audit data for process improvements.
• Audit laboratory testing, analytical methods and SOP compliance.
• Review and approve deviations, investigations, and CAPA related to labs.
• Review microbiological testing and sanitation reports.
• Place ingredients and finished goods on hold as directed by QA Manager.
• Investigate root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and promote a quality culture and organized work area.
