Job summary

ONCALL Staffing Inc is seeking an Entry-Level Quality Assurance Technician for its Houston area food manufacturing facility. The QA Technician will assist with monitoring food safety, product quality, inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on checks, data entry, and strict adherence to GMP, HACCP, and safety procedures. This on-site position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills needed.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct production line checks and visual inspections
• Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished products
• Perform basic quality checks including weight, temperature, pH, moisture, and metal detection verification
• Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and food safety procedures
• Assist with sanitation inspections and verification
• Collect product samples for testing and complete QA forms, logs, and other documentation accurately
• Identify and report quality or food safety concerns
• Assist with hold/release, rework, and product disposition procedures
• Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform additional QA duties as assigned
