Job summary

Rich Products Corporation is seeking a QA Technician to ensure food safety by monitoring HACCP compliance, implementing corrective actions and reporting deviations to the QA Manager. You will document test results, review data, conduct capability studies and perform comprehensive QA tasks across materials and finished goods.

You’ll work with SAP, Minitab and other lab systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help maintain a strong quality culture in a fast-paced food manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a food science, chemistry or biology related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of statistics and use of software packages.
• PC skills including Windows OS, Word and Excel.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and data analysis emphasized.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate powered lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Document test results and communicate deviations to management.
• Review data and follow up on product testing deviations and trends.
• Conduct product and process capability studies as directed by QA Manager.
• Perform QA tasks including sampling, line monitoring, lab testing and calibrations.
• Coordinate lab operations and audit data for process improvements.
• Review and audit microbiological testing and sanitation reports.
• Investigate root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
