Job summary

Savencia Cheese USA in City of Industry, CA seeks a Quality Assurance Auditor to ensure products meet food safety standards before leaving the facility. You will test ingredients, in-process samples and finished products, report deviations to a supervisor, and place out-of-spec lots on hold in SAP.

The role requires knowledge of SQF, FDA, USDA, PMO and GMPs, plus experience with LIMS, SAP, and data trend analysis.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 2 years of lab experience or a BS in biology, microbiology or dairy science.
• Knowledge of SQF, FDA, USDA, PMO, and customer requirements helpful.
• Ability to speak, read, write English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Test finished products for chemical and microbiological compliance.
• Enter analytical data into LIMS and trend data.
• Identify non-conformances and place affected product on hold in SAP.
• Support environmental monitoring and routine QC checks.
• Maintain equipment and perform calibration checks.
