Job summary

C.H. Guenther is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a food manufacturing setting in New Jersey. You will lead production staff, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to optimize flow.

The role requires strong leadership, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Previous supervisory experience in food manufacturing is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Manufacturing Management, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in food manufacturing or a similar industry is preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and MS Office; strong leadership and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to achieve high performance and morale.
• Monitor production processes for quality and safety; coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
• Schedule production activities and allocate resources to meet targets; seek improvements in efficiency and cost.
• Conduct regular product and process inspections to ensure quality standards; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on performance and trends.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
