Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking a Production Supervisor for our New Jersey food manufacturing facility. You will oversee production staff, coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You will manage resources, schedule activities, monitor performance, and report on production metrics. The role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and the ability to work non-standard hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Manufacturing Management, or related field, preferred.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory role in food manufacturing, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate production staff to maintain high performance and morale.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and logistics to optimize production flow.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Schedule production activities and allocate resources to meet targets.
• Monitor quality and address deviations with corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare production reports and communicate status to management.
