Job summary

cliosnacks is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in New Jersey to lead production and packaging shifts, ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance and real-time productivity tracking. The role requires coordinating with other shift managers and maintaining traceability and quality standards.

You will train and mentor team members, perform pre-operational checks, and report any quality or safety concerns to management. Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Responsible for supervising production and packaging teams to meet GMP/HACCP requirements.
• Ability to train and mentor direct reports and coordinate cross-shift activities.
• Monitor and record real-time production data to drive productivity on the factory floor.
• Ensure line setup, changeovers, and pre-operational checks are completed.
• Maintain traceability, quality checks, and adherence to sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and GMP guidelines as per Food Safety and Quality Programs.
• Drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to maximize line performance.
• Train and mentor direct reports on process and quality standards.
• Report Food Quality/Safety issues to management and Quality.
• Enter daily production data into the monitoring system and maintain accurate records.
• Set up lines, perform changeovers, and ensure proper machine setup for shifts.
• Perform quality checks and ensure GMPs are followed.
• Complete pre-operational inspections before each shift start.
• Report shift progress to the next supervisor and coordinate handoffs.
• Make basic mechanical adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Communicate deviations (packaging, labels, printing, labeling) to plant management.
• Complete traceability reports and distribute to recipients.
• Participate in audits and new product development trials within packaging scope.
• Provide resources to direct reports to perform quality work.
• Monitor break and lunch coverage for efficiency.
• Assist in hiring, promotion, or disciplinary recommendations.
