Michael Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor in Wakefield, NE to lead a team in manufacturing and sanitation efforts, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will manage daily operations, enforce GMPs, and drive cost-effective production with data-driven decisions.

The role requires 2–3 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong communication and organizational skills. Overtime/weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2–3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Leads team members to support safety, food safety, operations, sanitation, and personnel development.
• Keeps management informed about operational, quality, safety issues, and production cost control.
• Adheres to GMPs and maintains product quality; reports conditions affecting safety or quality.
• Enforces safety policies and includes safety in all jobs and tasks.
• Produces high-quality product at the lowest cost consistent with good manufacturing practices.
• Identifies and resolves operating problems to minimize impact.
• Directs services of maintenance, sanitation, and other personnel as needed to achieve production goals.
• Manages ingredient and packaging usage and department costs.
• Encourages suggestions from employees to improve production, quality, safety, and costs.
• Participates on plant safety team.
• Ensures regulatory compliance.
• Cooperates with all departments for coordinated work relationships.
• Maintains communications and leads meetings as required.
• Leads continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develops self and team members' skill sets to improve performance.
• Drives accountability and ownership of results in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Keeps records such as timekeeping, downtime, and attendance.
• Willing to work overtime or weekends; minimal travel required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
