Job summary

CHG in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Production Operator to ensure safe, efficient manufacture of food products. You will operate mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment, monitor lines, and maintain cleanliness.

This role requires adherence to GMPs, OSHA safety protocols, and the ability to report deviations. You will keep production records in Redzone and collaborate with teammates to meet targets, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Familiarity with GMPs, safety rules, and operating procedures.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery (mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment) according to specifications.
• Monitor production lines to ensure smooth flow and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production area per SOPs and GMPs.
• Record production data and logs in the system (Redzone); assist with inventory tasks.
• Collaborate with supervisors and quality control to meet targets and maintain safety.
