Job summary

LGI's foundation in Iowa is seeking a production worker to operate packaging machinery, monitor product volume, temperatures and readings, and ensure a sanitary, high-quality powder product on 8-hour shifts, including nights, weekends and overtime as needed.

You will document charts, load bags on pallets, operate a pallet jack or forklift, and support GMP, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in agriculture, production or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read gauges and record data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment under supervision.
• Package products and monitor readings for quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and documentation.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift for loading pallets.
• Record hourly production data and ensure proper labeling.
• Follow GMPs and safety guidelines at all times.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
