Job summary

LGI foundation is hiring for a production operator to support packaging lines in a fast-paced facility. You will monitor product flow, read gauges, and maintain accurate records while keeping the area clean and safe.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow strict quality and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include operating packaging equipment, collecting data, and assisting with equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in agriculture, production, or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read gauges and record data clearly and accurately.
• Ability to learn and follow established sanitary and safety procedures.
• Basic math skills and ability to operate packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery and monitor output.
• Record hourly readings (volume, temperatures, etc.) and maintain logs.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist in receiving, starting, running, and cleaning processing equipment.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs; comply with quality requirements.
• Operate forklift/pallet jack as needed; lift up to 60 lb bags.
• Support continuous improvement and teamwork across shifts.
