Job summary

LGI foundation in Iowa is seeking a production operative to promote safety and maintain sanitary food environments while operating packaging machinery and supporting line activities. This role requires lifting bag weights, reading gauges, recording data, and adhering to SOPs and GMPs to ensure top quality product.

You will work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and may require overtime. Experience in manufacturing is preferred; strong teamwork and reliable attendance are essential

Qualifications

• Education requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in agriculture, production, or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment under supervision.
• Monitor product volume, temperatures, times, and pressure readings.
• Prepare bags and load on pallets; lift up to 60 lbs.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, and sanitation requirements.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
