Job summary

LGI Homes is seeking a Production Worker to promote safety, maintain a sanitary food environment, and ensure quality product output. Work days or nights, 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays, with overtime as needed.

The role involves operating packaging machinery, monitoring temperatures and pressures, recording data, and adhering to GMPs, SOPs, and sanitation requirements. Candidates should be able to lift 60 lb. bags and work across plant areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in agriculture, production, or manufacturing preferred.
• Performs in-plant sanitation and safety procedures; participates in E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment under supervision, including packaging lines.
• Monitor product volume, temperatures, times, and pressure readings.
• Record data and charts per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow GMPs.
• Perform tasks for receiving, starting, running, and cleaning equipment.
• Move pallets using pallet jack or forklift and lift up to 60 lb bags.
