Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager for their Culinary Center in Brooklyn, NY
The Sodexo Culinary Center / Cook Chill Building services New York City Health + Hospitals (H+H), providing 15,000 meals daily to 11 acute care facilities, 4 long-term care locations, and 1 senior center.
The Food Production Manager at this location will oversee food production, quality, safety, sanitation, and be responsible for monitoring and directing daily production via coordinating managers, cooks, and food service aides. The process used is designed to ensure food is prepped, cooked, and cooled following all health code guidelines while simultaneously meeting and exceeding established quality standards. Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years.
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
