Job summary

F&S Fresh Foods in Clackamas, OR is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance, coach technicians, and ensure equipment reliability for fresh-cut production lines.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, perform PM planning, and drive continuous improvement. Strong leadership and low-voltage control skills are essential to keep production on schedule in a rapid, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or trade certification preferred.
• 5+ years industrial maintenance in food, beverage, packaging, pharma, or similar manufacturing.
• 2+ years as maintenance supervisor, lead mechanic, or maintenance lead.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including low-voltage controls.
• Able to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Nice to have: VFD experience, welding ability, and food manufacturing experience.
• Clear communicator and organized, hands-on leader who leads by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians with safety, quality, response time, and workmanship expectations.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment on the floor.
• Diagnose low-voltage control circuits, sensors, and safety circuits; guide technicians through complex breakdowns.
• Own preventive maintenance compliance; audit PM quality and close overdue work.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce repeat failures.
• Manage work orders, PM schedules, and maintenance records accurately.
• Coordinate with Production, Sanitation, Quality, and Engineering to minimize downtime.
• Ensure work meets OSHA, GMP, HACCP, SQF, and LOTO; support audits.

Education

2+ years as supervisor/lead
