Job summary

F&S Fresh Foods in Clackamas, OR is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians on the production floor, ensuring equipment runs reliably and production stays on schedule.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, plan and schedule preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement with a hands-on leadership style while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or trade certification preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of industrial maintenance in food, beverage, packaging, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing.
• Leadership: 2+ years as a maintenance supervisor, lead mechanic, or maintenance lead.
• Must have: Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including low-voltage controls, sensors, and safety circuits.
• Technical skill: Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians, setting safety, quality, response time, and workmanship expectations.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment on the floor.
• Diagnose low-voltage control circuits, sensors, and safety circuits; support technicians through complex breakdowns.
• Own preventive maintenance compliance; audit PM quality and close out overdue work.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce repeat failures and improve reliability.
• Manage work orders, PM schedules, and maintenance records accurately and on time.
• Partner with Production, Sanitation, Quality, and Engineering to minimize downtime and coordinate contractor work.
• Ensure all work meets OSHA, GMP, HACCP, SQF, and LOTO requirements and audit readiness.
