• Keep a reasonable flow of raw/cooked meat products moving through the processing machines.
• Required to lift, push, and pull products to maintain a reasonable flow of materials.
• Stuff, formulate, and link raw products by hand using our traditional process, which requires extensive attention to detail.
• Inspect meat products and packaging before they become final products to remove deformities, imperfections, and other quality control issues that may cause rejection.
• Place finished products into pre-formed boxes for distribution to customers.
• Capable of standing in one place for 80% of the shift (8+ hours per day).
• Capable of walking throughout the department for 20% of the shift (8+ hours per day).
• Require the frequent use of both hands and arms.
• Require the ability to lift overhead using both arms.
• Capable of bending, twisting, and squatting as needed throughout the shift (8+ hours per day).
• Ability to push/pull racks weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.
• Work in refrigerated environments maintained between 28°F and 34°F throughout the shift.
• Frequent exposure to raw beef and pork meat products.
• Floors may be slippery when wet due to sanitation and spillage.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, for counting and packaging purposes.
