Job summary

Gagne Foods in Bath, ME is seeking a Food Production Line Worker to measure, grate and feed batches of raw materials into production machinery, operate line equipment, assemble goods on a production line and package finished products.

You will be part of a team that meets production goals, follows GMPs and HACCP guidelines, works in a cold environment, and reports any food safety or quality concerns to management.

Qualifications

• Must follow GMPs and HACCP guidelines.
• Must be able to bend, twist, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States with 2 forms of ID.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Works as an effective team member.
• Stands for entire shift at the production line.
• Assists with production line in various capacities.
• Measures and pours ingredients in correct amounts.
• Starts up and stops equipment.
• Ensures conformance to specifications.
• Feeds items onto equipment for processing.
• Inspects goods produced and ensures proper labeling and packaging.
• Detects and isolates foreign materials.
• Packages finished products and ensures correct packaging.
• Follows supervisor instructions and company protocols.
• Maintains safety practices and GMP/HACCP compliance.
• Reports food safety, quality and security concerns.
