Job summary

Echo Lake Foods, a Burlington, Wisconsin-based producer of ready-to-eat egg products, is seeking a Food Production Line Worker. The role performs fast-paced manufacturing tasks, including food preparation, packaging, inspection, and maintaining cleanliness and GMP compliance to meet quality standards.

Shift options: 1st shift 7:00 AM–7:00 PM; 2nd shift 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Duties include operating equipment, assembling and packaging, inspecting quality, labeling and palletizing, and reporting issues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse helpful.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assemble, process, and package food products according to specifications.
• Inspect products for quality, defects, and compliance with standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area per GMP requirements.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures (including PPE).
• Assist with line changeovers and equipment setup as needed.
• Accurately label, pack, and palletize finished products.
• Report equipment malfunctions, product issues, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Meet daily production goals and efficiency standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
