Job summary

freshexpress is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in a food processing environment. The role focuses on starting shifts, fulfilling customer demands, and coordinating people and materials while upholding safety, quality and cost standards.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of production supervision experience within food processing/packaging, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Food Manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of production supervision in food processing/packaging.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience supervising direct reports through coaching.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret daily manufacturing schedule.
• Ensure safety, quality and cost standards are met.
• Lead continuous process improvement and labor optimization.
• Coordinate resources to meet daily production goals.
• Support new product launches and process changes.
• Review attendance and ensure policy compliance.
• Communicate effectively across the organization.
• Manage Kronos punch and Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
• Other duties as assigned.
