Job summary

Fresh Express is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead the QA team and maintain robust food safety and quality programs for high-quality, safe products. You will supervise QA technicians, drive performance improvements, and ensure adherence to ISO 22000 and company standards in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of food processing, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or higher in a food science, science, or technical discipline.
Experience in QA within food manufacturing preferred.
Familiarity with ISO 22000 or equivalent systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

Supervise the on-line QA technicians to assure compliance to all company, customer quality, and food safety requirements.
Coach and drive performance improvements of QA staff, including supervisors and technicians.
Address performance issues of QA personnel using HR guidelines.
Audit compliance to food safety requirements.
Carry out root cause analysis and drive sustained improvements at production level.
Instill a culture of operational discipline, accuracy, and compliance.
Prepare and conduct trainings on topics for employees at different levels of the organization.
Ensure QA department employees are trained in and obey food safety rules.
Perform other duties as assigned.
