Job summary

Field Fresh Foods in California is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities, ensuring products are made safely, efficiently, on time, and to our quality standards.

You will supervise a team, coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Sanitation, drive improvements, and maintain accurate production records.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production in a food manufacturing/fresh foods environment.
• Strong ability to coach, train, and hold staff accountable.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, sanitation and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities and supervise production staff to meet goals.
• Ensure schedules are produced safely, efficiently, accurately, and on time.
• Assign staff to lines based on requirements, staffing, and priorities.
• Monitor labor utilization, productivity, downtime, waste, and KPI trends.
• Coach and develop employees with clear expectations and ongoing feedback.
• Maintain GMP, food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety practices.
• Lead pre-shift and safety meetings and communicate production updates.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Sanitation to resolve issues.
• Identify bottlenecks, equipment issues, and workflow disruptions and implement fixes.
• Document production records and ensure accurate reporting.
