Job summary

Fresh Express Salads is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage shift start-up, fulfill customer demands, and coordinate people and materials on the production floor. The role ensures safety, quality, and cost targets are met and that the daily schedule is executed.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or food manufacturing and at least 3 years of supervising experience in a food processing environment, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or food manufacturing.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to translate complex schedules into actionable tasks.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.
• Preferred bilingual English/Spanish or English/Polish.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret the daily manufacturing schedule.
• Ensure compliance with food processing, sanitation, safety, and cost controls.
• Drive continual process improvement and productive operations.
• Coordinate resources to complete the daily production plan.
• Support new product launches with adequate manufacturing resources.
• Coach and mentor direct reports and maintain performance standards.
