Job summary

Sysco, a global leader in foodservice distribution, seeks a Fresh Cuts Associate to support daily production line activities. You will assist the Line Leader with packing or processing tasks, maintain a clean and safe workstation, and communicate potential improvements on shift transitions.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures. On-the-job training is provided; prior experience is not required, with preference for those who have 6+ months in

Qualifications

• Prefer High School or GED but not required.
• No experience required, on the job training provided.
• 6+ months in a food production, warehouse, or general labor role (preferred)

Responsibilities

• 30% Perform assigned packing or processing tasks on the production line
• 20% Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
• 15% Assist Line Leader in preparing and transitioning the line between shifts
• 10% Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
• 10% Identify quality or safety concerns and report to Line Leader
• 5% Assist in moving materials and replenishing supplies
• 5% Maintain accurate records or labels when required
• 5% Support continuous improvement efforts and cooperate with team initiatives
