Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a Fresh Cuts Associate to support the line leadership on a production line, ensuring efficient packing or processing while keeping the area clean and safe. You will stay observant and communicate potential improvements to the Line Leader.

The role emphasizes following instructions, attention to detail, and teamwork, with on-the-job training provided and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement in a refrigerated production environment.

Qualifications

• Prefer High School or GED but not required.
• No experience required, on the job training provided.
• 6+ months in a food production, warehouse, or general labor role (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned packing or processing tasks on the production line.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Assist Line Leader in preparing and transitioning the line between shifts.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Identify quality or safety concerns and report to Line Leader.
• Assist in moving materials and replenishing supplies.
• Maintain accurate records or labels when required.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and cooperate with team initiatives.
