Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join its engineering team in Memphis, Tennessee.

The role supports capital project delivery and continuous improvement across processing and packaging operations in a food processing environment. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of project management experience, with experience in PFDs/P&IDs and PLC automation to enable cost savings and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in design and installation of processing/packaging systems.
Experience with PFDs and P&IDs and with ASME, ANSI, NFPA standards.
Experience designing PLC controls for automation and cost savings.

Responsibilities

Apply engineering principles to analyze and plan requirements for food-related processing and/or packaging projects and cost studies to achieve targeted objectives.
Prepare engineering specifications, design process and package flows, and create drawings and documentation needed to support capital projects.
Lead projects through concept, design, installation, commissioning, and qualification to meet defined scope and project objectives.
Obtain and adopt applicable requirements, including building permits, environmental regulations, sanitary design, GMP standards, safety, code requirements, and OSHA regulations.
