Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Process/Production Engineer in Memphis, TN to join the operations team. You will apply engineering expertise to drive improvements in product quality, yields, and cost, while leading the introduction or relocation of manufacturing processes and guiding capital projects from design through deployment.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, process optimization, and data-driven decision making with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Experience in production/process engineering in a chemical manufacturing plant.
• Experience in process design and improvement, including troubleshooting and debottlenecking for efficiency, capability, and safety.
• Experience with separation techniques and operations (liquid/liquid separation).
• Experience in reaction chemistry (synthesis), kinetics, and scale-up from lab to pilot to commercial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to identify process and operational improvements to improve quality, yields, and cost.
• Optimize processes and improve process control for energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Lead manufacturing introductions/relocations of processes, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production.
• Conceive, design, and install small to medium capital projects with hands-on execution and oversight.
• Establish systems to collect and monitor process data and perform root cause analysis to verify results.
