CP Fresh, a Charlie’s Produce Company, is seeking a Food Processor in the Cook Chill Department. This on-site role supports daily production goals, handling ingredients safely and operating cook chill equipment while maintaining strict sanitation standards. The position requires 4:00am–12:30pm schedule with weekend availability.

Prior food production or manufacturing experience is preferred; HACCP/GMP knowledge is a plus. Employee benefits include medical/dental/vision and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food production, kitchens, or manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, batch sheets, and safety instructions.

• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure, wash, trim, and prepare raw ingredients according to batch recipes
• Operate cook chill kettles, mixers, blenders, and portioning equipment
• Monitor chiller and cooling cycles to ensure product safety and quality
• Follow standardized recipes and production sheets with high accuracy
• Package finished products using vacuum seal or portion control systems
• Monitors product quality, consistency, and adherence to recipes and specifications
• Conduct and document required temperature checks

The Food Processor in the Cook Chill Department is an on-site position and requires regular attendance at the facility. And plays a key role in preparing high-quality food products for Charlie’s Produce customers. This role focuses on safe, efficient handling of ingredients; operation of cook chill equipment; and maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. The position supports daily production goals while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
