Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods is hiring a Machine Operator 1 in our Production area. You will set up, maintain, and operate basic food processing machines that produce intermediate products, ensuring quality and safety throughout the production line.

This non-exempt, full-time role requires reliability, willingness to learn, and collaboration with team members. Experience in food manufacturing is preferred, with readiness to work in a refrigerated, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and be understood.
• English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Able to work with attention to detail and safety standards.
• Willingness to learn and improve.
• Team player required to work closely and collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic machines to combine raw and processed ingredients into intermediate food products.
• Set up machines for Production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
• Observe machine operation to ensure quality and conformity to company guidelines.
• Inspect parts to specifications and make adjustments or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.
• Clean and sanitize machines according to company guidelines and machine specs.
• Ensure product date, weight, and temperatures are within established guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Display a positive attitude toward people, equipment, and company policy.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow company safety guidelines, HACCP requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality is required.
