Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Prep Worker to support kitchen operations. The role involves preparing and portioning food items according to daily worksheets and Aramark recipes, while adhering to sanitation standards. The position requires attention to rotation of stock, proper labeling, and safe handling of all ingredients.

You will work with a team to maintain clean, organized stations and assist with end-of-shift cleaning and safety procedures. Prior prep or food-service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of prep work or food-service experience.
• Knowledge of food prep, knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation.
• Able to read and write to communicate with team.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food items using prep lists and standard Aramark recipes.
• Follows proper food handling procedures.
• Maintains accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness.
• Manages leftover foods correctly; cover, label, date, and accurately store according to Aramark standards.
• Maintains clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas.
• Ensures stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of the shift (including cleaning of kitchen equipment).
• Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment that conforms to all food safety standards and regulations.
• Follows safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
• Completes all required training.
