Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Prep Worker to prepare and portion meals according to daily worksheets and Aramark recipes, while maintaining sanitation standards in the kitchen.

Responsibilities include following prep lists, rotating stock for freshness, handling leftovers properly, and keeping refrigerators and work areas clean and organized, all while adhering to safety policies and training requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of prep work or food service experience preferred
• Knowledge of food prep, knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is helpful
• Must be able to read and write to communicate with others
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food items using prep lists and standard Aramark recipes.
• Follows proper food handling procedures.
• Maintains accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness.
• Manages leftover foods: cover, label, date, and store according to Aramark standards.
• Maintains clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas.
• Ensures stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at shift end.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment conforming to food safety standards and regulations.
• Follows safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
• Completes all required training.
