Qualifications

• Minimum one-year prep work or food service-related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food prep, knife handling, temperature control and sanitation helpful.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food items using prep lists and standard recipes.
• Follows proper food handling procedures.
• Maintains accurate rotation of food to ensure top quality and freshness.
• Manages leftover foods: cover, label, date, and store per standards.
• Keeps refrigerators and work areas clean and orderly.
• Ensures stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at end of shift.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment compliant with food safety standards.
• Follows safety policies and completes required training.
