Job summary

Fresh Express Salads is seeking a Crew Lead to supervise day-to-day operations across all lines. You will ensure staffing, proper setup, and adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards while coordinating changeovers and maintaining documentation.

You will lead a team of 40–50 production employees, communicate the production schedule, and help train new hires. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work Monday through Saturday, and safety-compliant footwear.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a production setting.
• Experience leading a group of 40–50 production employees.
• Food industry or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes and be available Monday–Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and understand the Production schedule.
• Ensure lines are staffed and set up with correct product, labeling, and packaging information.
• Coordinate changeovers with operators and PMO staff as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure product quality meets specs.
• Monitor packaging lines to ensure correct quantities and no overruns.
• Record hourly documentation accurately and meet daily production standards.
