Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Ability to prioritize and follow directions with little/no supervision.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends when required.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and in group situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in various formats.
• Ability to learn and utilize various technology systems.

Aufgaben

• Leads a team to support safety, food safety, operations, sanitation, and personnel development.
• Keeps management informed about operational, quality, safety issues, employee concerns, and production cost control.
• Adheres to safe work practices, GMPs, and maintains product quality.
• Produces high quality product at the lowest cost consistent with good manufacturing practices.
• Resolves operating problems to minimize impact on operations.
• Directs services of maintenance, sanitation, and other personnel as needed to achieve production goals.
• Manages ingredient, packaging usage, and other department costs.
• Encourages suggestions from employees to improve production, quality, safety and cost control.
• Participates on plant safety team and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Cooperates with all departments for coordinated work relationships.
• Maintains communications and leads meetings as required.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives and develops team skills.
• Ensures safety, quality, delivery, and productivity accountability.
