Job summary

Biery Cheese Co. seeks an experienced Production Supervisor for 3rd Shift to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and uphold high-quality production processes in a food-focused facility.

The role requires knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP/FSMA, CGMP, and strong leadership to train and motivate staff while meeting uptime goals and maintaining a safe, clean plant environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business, engineering, applied science or related fields is preferred or relevant manufacturing experience.
• 1-3 years supervisor experience in a food handling facility is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associates fostering a team environment.
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations, GMPs sanitation methods, HACCP/FSMA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates employees to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards.
• Maintains line ownership and performance, and facilitates on-the-job training.
• Trains new workers and cross trains to cover shortages.
• Manage uptime, capacity and performance measurements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly plant environment and report incidents within 24 hours.
• Communicate across operations and line, and participate in root cause/problem-solving events.
