Job summary

Aerotek in Prior Lake, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including conveyors, ovens, and freezers, to ensure safe, efficient operation.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold GMP and Quality Assurance standards while supporting a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of technical education or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical fields.
• Hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment.
• Ability to read diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specifications.
• LOTO certification or willingness to maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, ovens, and freezers to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot motors, belts, and pneumatic systems to restore operation.
• Use manuals and specifications to diagnose issues and determine repair methods.
• Maintain inventories and document maintenance activities and inspections.
• Operate forklifts and follow GMPs while keeping a clean, safe workspace.
