Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore is seeking staff to pack ready-to-eat foods for daily delivery routes. You will organize packed items for morning and afternoon sites, assist drivers with loading, and maintain clear communication with supervisors to prevent operational issues.

Responsibilities include keeping the packing area clean, following Baltimore City Health Department standards, and accurately packing items per route counts while labeling correctly to avoid mistakes.

Qualifications

• Involves packing ready-to-eat foods for daily routes.
• Maintain clean, organized packing area and workspace.
• Communicate with supervisors to prevent issues.
• Assist with loading and deliveries as needed.
• Follow city health standards and kitchen policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized and clean work space in the food packing and surrounding areas.
• Assists driver with the loading the truck. Also assists with deliveries, when necessary and determined by Operations Manager.
• Follows all food safety standards as determined by Baltimore City Health Department and Good Harvest Community Kitchen.
• Accurately pack ready to eat foods based on daily count sheets for each customer site and route.
• Store product in correct containers, and label packaging correctly to avoid delivery mistakes.
• Maintain daily communication with Lead Packer, Operations Manager, Lead Driver and Culinary Management to avoid any operations problems.
