Job summary

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year of production experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work a day shift on a 12-hour schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work safely around moving mechanical equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to product quality and packaging specifications.
• Ability to follow safety, hygiene, sanitation, housekeeping, and 5S procedures.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime as required by production needs.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardboard cartons and trays for packing by folding, taping, sorting, labeling, and securing cartons.
• Ensure tape guns and carton-taping equipment have adequate supplies and are ready for use.
• Perform visual inspections of finished product packaging, including bag registration, code dates, pricing, seals, bags, and cases.
• Identify and remove products that do not meet specifications and communicate packaging or quality concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Fill cartons and displays according to packaging specifications and verify products are packed with the correct corresponding labels.
• Stack cartons and trays on pallets or skids using the designated quantity and stacking pattern.
• Use a pallet jack, when applicable, to move finished goods.
• Follow established safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and personal-protection procedures.
