Newly Weds Foods in Chicago, IL is seeking a General Labor team member to support production and packaging, operate equipment, verify labels, and maintain clean, safe GMP-compliant conditions on the line.

This role rotates between tasks, requires physical stamina, accuracy with batch tickets and paperwork, and adherence to safety rules; forklift may be required, and prior food manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a food manufacturing or packaging environment preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn packaging and warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment, including bagging machines, scales and label printers.
• Verify ingredients and labels against batch tickets for accuracy.
• Load materials, assist blending, ensure proper filling, weighing and sealing.
• Maintain product integrity and packaging standards throughout processing.
• Complete required paperwork and assist with inventory checks.
