Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a General Labor to support production and packaging operations in a fast-paced facility in Chicago. You will assist with dumping ingredients, bagging products, labeling, stacking, and rotating across lines as needed to ensure product quality and efficient workflow.

The role emphasizes GMP compliance, safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork under supervision. Prior food-manufacturing or packaging experience is preferred, with physical ability to lift 25–55+ lbs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn packaging and warehouse equipment.
• Forklift certification may be required (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and verify products during packaging.
• Dump ingredients, weigh, seal, label, and stack bags.
• Ensure correct batch codes, labels, and product codes.
• Maintain GMPs, cleanliness, and safety, including LOTO when required.
• Complete required paperwork and assist with inventory control.
