Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a packaging operator to efficiently run packaging lines and bag/pack finished product. The role includes rotating to other pack-line positions as needed and ensuring product integrity.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of packaging experience in a food manufacturing setting, with the ability to lift 55 lbs and push/pull up to 250 lbs. Training will be provided, and safety rules must be followed.

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and push/pull up to 250 lbs.
• Experience operating packaging equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and bag/pack finished product on packaging lines.
• Assist in rotating to other positions at the line as needed.
• Set up machine for startup and verify ingredients and batch with supervisor.
• Complete paperwork and maintain line cleanliness and GMP.
