Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a Packaging Team Member to monitor, operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment, ensuring products meet customer specifications while following GMP, safety and quality procedures. You will also perform washouts, perform line checks and maintain documentation throughout the shift.

The role requires reading and writing in English, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and good attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Understand written and verbal instructions to complete packaging of products per SOPs/SSPOs.
• Operate manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform basic math.
• Must be able to read/write in English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment to meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Perform washouts of machinery at end of production runs and maintain sanitation.
• Document shift activities including pre-op checks, quality checks and maintenance.
• Load packaging material, adjust machine components and respond to jams or malfunctions.
• Communicate performance data to other shifts and ensure accurate end-of-shift line clearance.
