Newly Weds Foods in Chicago, IL is hiring to lead daily warehouse operations, shipping, receiving and inventory accuracy on a hands-on team. You will supervise staff, ensure GMP/HACCP compliance, document lot codes, and drive safety initiatives on the production floor.

The role requires leadership, strong math skills and the ability to lift 50 lb and climb ladders. Work includes ensuring a clean, compliant environment, managing labor hours to meet demand, and participating in cost-saving process

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree preferred and/or 5 years of work experience in related field.
• Food plant experience and knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Allergen Protocol are required.
• Excellent math skills are required.
• Ability to lift 50 lb.
• Ability to climb ladders as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure safe, compliant movement of raw materials and finished goods.
• Enforce GMP, HACCP, Allergen controls; document lot codes accurately.
• Supervise warehouse staff; schedule labor to meet production demand.
• Coach and conduct performance reviews; monitor safety practices.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training on Hazmat and PPE.
• Maintain equipment preventative maintenance; drive process improvements.
• Document data for operational compliance and accuracy.
