Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Food Manufacturing Quality Manager in Chicago to lead our quality programs across the plant. You will oversee supplier testing, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and drive continuous improvement in quality systems.

The role requires minimum 5 years in quality management in food manufacturing, knowledge of HACCP/ISO 22000, and proven leadership. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct audits, and train staff to uphold high quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in quality management in food manufacturing.
• Experience with supplier testing and QA audits.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and ISO 22000.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the implementation of food safety and quality systems across all manufacturing operations.
• Manage supplier testing procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits of manufacturing processes and supplier operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality and safety.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the understanding of quality management principles across the organization.
• Lead investigations into quality issues, develop corrective action plans, and oversee their implementation.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing regular updates to senior management on performance against targets.
• Stay abreast of changes in food safety regulations and industry best practices.
