Westaff in Fairfax, VT is seeking a reliable Machine Operator for our food manufacturing team. The role involves ingredient preparation, equipment operation, sanitation, and quality control with a four-day work week schedule (Mon-Thu, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM) and a pay rate of $18.50/hour.

You will read mix tickets, weigh ingredients, coordinate with the warehouse, and perform HACCP-compliant quality checks while maintaining accurate records and following GMPs and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards preferred.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret mix tickets to determine required ingredients
• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients for production batches
• Coordinate with the warehouse team regarding materials and ingredients
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process
• Disassemble and clean equipment according to HACCP standards
• Maintain accurate production and batch records
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
