Job summary

Farmer Focus in Liberty, VA is seeking a Machine Operator to maintain and test production equipment, ensure quality, and support efficient operations on the 1st shift. This on-site role requires adherence to safety and food safety programs.

You will follow lockout/tagout, read drawings, perform basic measurements, and collaborate with the Box Room team to meet customer specifications. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and pass pre-employment drug testing.

Qualifications

• Basic math ability to perform measurements and calculations.
• Ability to read and write in English to follow procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, drawings, and safety signs.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and confined space entry procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and test machinery and components in assigned production areas.
• Identify equipment needing repair or preventive maintenance.
• Respond promptly to production-area requests for mechanical issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Follow all safety and food safety programs and company policies.
• Complete tasks accurately using tools and resources.
